LUKAS Frank S. Lukas, passed away Dec. 30, 2003 in Jacksonville, FL. Born Sept. 19, 1931 in Wilkes Barre, PA; son of the late Louis and (Frances Cinschek) Lukas. He is survived by his wife Doris; 2 sons Michael Lukas of Jacksonville, Tony and his wife Jenney Lukas of Toledo, Ohio; 1 brother, Louis Lukas of Milwaukee, WI.; 2 nephews Frank Lukas of Largo, FL, Jerry and his wife Marlene Lukas of Belleair Bch., FL; 1 niece Debra and husband Mike Kober of S. Milwaukee, WI; 2 grandchildren, Makenzie and Andrew Lukas. Frank served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post 1143 in NY, serving as Commander for several years. He served as Vice President on the Mt. Upton NY School Board and was an avid supporter and booster organizer for the high school marching band, and also a supporter of D.C.I. (drum corp. International) in Saratoga Springs, NY and Philadelphia PA. He was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lod ge #42 in Jacksonville. Frank was an Alumni of Penn State University and was employed by Allied-Bendix Aerospace in Sidney, NY and was transferred with his company to Unison in Jacksonville. Mr. Lukas was predeceased by 1 brother, Gerald Lukas and his parents. Contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville. FL 32257.
