Frank OUELLETTE Obituary

Published by Windsor Star on Feb. 11, 2017.

OUELLETTE, Frank
Passed away peacefully on February 9, 2017 at the age of 84 years at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington. Left to mourn his passing but celebrating his life are his loving wife Barb (nee Coleman), son Rodney (Christine), and daughter Lisa (Michael) Haire as well as his grandchildren Brendan, Kaitlin, Ashley, Evan and Lauren. Beloved brother of Lucille (Stan) Cecile, Doreen (Ron 2009) Bechard, Geri (Ed) Pflanzner, Ted (Janet 2016) Ouellette and Gene (Colleen) Ouellette. Beloved stepbrother of Doug (Joan) Bechard, Bob (Anita) Bechard, Donat (Linda) Bechard, Marie (Walter 1994) Shuel and Annette (2012) and Floyd Meloche. Beloved step-son of Lida Ouellette (2000). Beloved brother-in-law of Bill (2013) and Elaine Coleman, Ron Coleman and Donna Wulf (2008). Frank will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. After a lengthy period of poor health, Frank was looking forward to be reunited with his mother Delia Ouellette (1954), his father Ernest Ouellette (1994), and his brothers, Bob (1997) and Danny (1997). Frank was a dedicated and valued employee of Windsor Salt Mine and was fortunate to have been retired for 20 years. Frank was passionate about animals and nature. In his younger days he loved to hunt and fish with his father and brothers and in these later years, found peace in watching the birds. How fortunate to spend his final days at Hospice watching them at the feeder right outside his window! In kindness, memorial donations may be made to Hospice (Leamington) or the Dialysis Unit (Windsor Regional Hospital) would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the Dialysis Unit staff that have attended to Frank over the past year, the staff on the 7th floor at WRH (Ouellette Campus) as well as the staff and volunteers at the Erie Shores Hospice (Leamington) for their exemplary care of Frank and the compassion that they've extended to the family during this difficult time.Visitation will be held at
