My sympathy to Billy Ruth, Ed and your extended family on the loss of your dear uncle, Frank. I was fortuante to meet Frank serveral times. He had a ready smile and an endearing personality. I know he will be missed by all your family and the friends he made at Four Fountains. You have the comfort of knowing you provided excellent care for him after Martha died. Upon reading the other entries, I can tell that you will have great stories to tell about Uncle Frank & Aunt Martha when your family gathers. God bless you all. Your friend, Pat Probst

Uncle Frank will never forget how good you and Aunt Mart were to my sister and I.
The games we played in the back yard. Watching the tricks you taught to your dog. We always enjoyed going to see you. A great man. You will be missed.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Frank. I remember when he took me to the zoo. We had a great time looking at the animals and eating popcorn. We
got in trouble for eating popcorn in the reptile house. Another time,Uncle Frank took me to the St. Louis Humane Society to look at the dogs. The next day, my dad took me back to the Humane Society and we got our dog Annie. I will miss you a lot, Uncle Frank. You were more to me than just a great uncle. You were like a grandpa to me.
Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. I know you are happy in heaven with Aunt Martha now. We love you! Lana Pelc-Gentry,Scott,Eric,Sky and Smokey.

Frank & Martha were a special uncle & aunt to us
He was too quiet in his heroic life They were good to the kids around them and great animal lovers.
I remember all the tricks he taught their dogs
He was a ball player before the war but could not play later because of jungle rot
They were a special part of our lives
and will always be

Frank Pelc was my great-uncle and such a fantastic man. He was always so good to my family. We loved to go to Uncle Frank and Aunt Martha's home.....play with Uncle Frank's wind-up toy collection and a doll named "Valerie",,,,such wonderful childhood memories. When I had my own children, they both enjoyed the same fun! They were in awe of the multi-colored, groovy beaded entranceway that led from the kitchen to the living room. I remember when they put that up, back in the 60s! Uncle Frank and Aunt Martha's home was a time capsule!! Oh, and I can't forget all of the Peanut M&Ms and having soda in my favorite cup....Aunt Martha got it as a promotion from the grocery store back in the day! We had so many Thanksgivings at the big dining room table in their basement ...so much fun! So much food! And in the Spring and Summers, there was such a peacefulness about sitting on their porch swing, out by the garage. Uncle Frank and Aunt Martha loved dogs! They spoiled their own dogs rotten! Uncle Frank always had a "goodie" in his pocket for the neighborhood dogs also. He was such a warm, kind and generous man. Thank you for everything, Uncle Frank! Bruce , I and the kids will miss you, but we know that you are now at peace. We love you! XO Lynne Pelc-Shelton and family: .Bruce, Blake and Mackenzie.....also Star, Zero, Evie and Captain Morgan!
