Frank SEVILLE Obituary

Published by Edmonton Journal on Apr. 19, 2016.
SEVILLE, Frank Alfred Richardson
April 21, 1931 – April 14, 2016
Frank Alfred Richardson Seville passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus at the Sturgeon Hospital, St. Albert, Alberta on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the age of 84 years. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 61 years, Doreen; his sons, Cliff (Janis) Seville and Ken (Jodie) Seville; grandchildren, Jay-Anne (Greg) Trela, Taya (Chad) Alexander, Chrysten (Ken) Jennings, Justin Seville, Sean (Jen McCormack) Seville, Megan (Cameron Jefferies) Seville, Curtis Seville; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Frank was born in Crossfield, Alberta, to Herbert and Lillian Seville, and at age nine, after the loss of his mother and father, he was loved and raised by his sister, Edith, and her husband, Dean Tweedle, in Jasper, Alberta. Jasper is where Frank's life adventures truly began. His favourite activities included mountain climbing, scuba diving, sky diving, snow and water skiing, hiking and golfing. One of his proudest moments was reaching the summit of Mount Edith Cavell. Frank was very happy to have spent his 37 year career with Northwestern Utilities (now Atco Gas).
Frank and Doreen spent their retirement winters in Arizona along with Edith and Dean's daughter, Carolyn (Don) Royan, and in more recent years they were joined by Edith and Dean's son, Dean (Glenni) Tweedle.
Frank touched many people's lives and is best known for his kind heart, happy spirit and willingness to help others. He was so very thankful for his beloved family and friends and was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will live on through them and the many others he inspired.
To honour Frank, our family requests you perform a random act of kindness or do a good deed to help others.
Frank's family would like to thank Dr. Leon and the wonderful nurses on unit 27 at the Sturgeon Hospital for giving care and comfort to Frank in his last few weeks.
A Celebration of Frank's life will be held at the 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. Albert Alliance Church, 25416 S HWY 633, St. Albert. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Jasper National Park.

What we remember most about Frank is his laughter and smile that he would would always greet you with. I recall his howl when he put someone in the kitchen playing shuffle board. He will be missed by Donna and myself.
