Wow I learned about Frank Slaughter had passed away from my brother. I grew up in the Lone Jack and Cockrell area and neighbors with the Slaughter family. There was Frank Slaughter and Randy Bowman we were classmates at the Greenwood Elem. Grade school and we were good friends, we used to camp and Explore the surrounding Woods and Creeks, Frank, Randy and I we rode the school bus together up until 1971-72. I knew Frank Slaughter in the late 1960s-Early 1970s. And we lost touch with each other, but later years we friended him on Facebook.

I have great memories of Frank Slaughter and I still cherish them until now, he was great friend, great guy who was a Good Leader. I am so sad to hear this about him. He will be deeply missed by all. God bless you Frank, my prayers for his family.

Frank's passing was sad news to hear. Even after so many years since we hung out as kids. Bless your soul Frank. They'll be happy to have you on board in heaven.
