Family-Placed Death Notice

FRANK JOSEPH THIEBAUT Frank Joseph Thiebaut, 87, of Marietta, died Thursday, October 27, 2005.Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with Rev. Angie Crummie officiating. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Thiebaut was born in San Francisco, CA. He lived in Cobb County for the past 35 years; having moved from Buckhead, where he and his wife lived and raised their children from the mid 1940's. Mr. Thiebaut was a member of St. Andrews UMC where he sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Thiebaut was an attorney for Fulton County. After retiring from Fulton County, he devoted the remainder of his life to family and numerous charitable, church and civic activities within Cobb County.Mr. Thiebaut is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and John Diehl of Suwannee; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Anneli Thiebaut of Roswell; two brothers, Paul Thiebaut of San Mateo, CA, Louis Thiebaut of San Francisco, CA; seven grandchildren, Scott Satterfield, Jenny Bruce, Tiffani Satterfield, Sean Belman, Travis Belman, Kayla Diehl, Alexis Thiebaut; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mr. Thiebaut was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Mae Dickerson and his daughter, Nancy Anne Belman.Donations may be made to East Cobb YMCA, 1055 East Piedmont Rd., NEMarietta, Georgia 30062.The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
