He worked as an upholsterer and later as a jeweler on Rodeo Drive for many years.
He is survived by his five children, Kathy Huffman of Big Pine, CA., David Tieffer of Carson City, NV, Mark Tieffer of Palm Springs, CA, Gary Tieffer of Temecula, CA and Carol Tieffer of Long Beach, CA; six grandchildren; seven great grand children. He was also survived by his other family, Dan and Steve McAllister of Palm Springs, CA and Mary Block of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his best little buddy, Gus and his longtime best friend and
companion, Peggy McAllister.
Interment took place at Riverside National Cemetery on March 29, 2007.
