Frank Trejo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 5, 2018.
Frank Richard Trejo was born in Bakersfield, CA on December 24, 1952. He passed away on April 11, 2018 at the age of 65. He was loved by so many around the world and close to home. Frank Trejo was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, friend and Grand Master of the martial arts Kenpo Karate. Frank loved being able to teach his craft and wisdom around the globe. In the last few years, his health started to diminish which sadly caused him to have multiple amputations.

Nonetheless, it didn't stop him from doing what he loved most, teaching. Frank had a big heart and a lot of love for life, always knowing how to have a good time and enjoying the moment. His great big smile and laughter will truly be missed.

He is survived by his mother Carole trejo. His children Janine Carrasco, David and Rachel Trejo, daughter in law Temicka Trejo. His siblings Yolanda, Micheal, and Steven Trejo and Becky Bassett. Grandchildren Elijah and Desmond Trejo and Priscilla and Lil Memo Carrasco, and his multiple nieces and nephews.

A prayer service for Frank will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Andrews, 311 N. Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91103. Following the prayer service will be a cremation at 12:00 AM.

Thank you Frank. You were a great teacher and mentor. You spoke honestly and directly, and made me work hard. Your talent and work ethic are an excellent example for those who wish to study. Tell Ed I said hello. Godspeed.
