HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD.
Today is the most special day ever because we have you for our dad. The memories, the laughter, the love that you left us with will carry on in our hearts forever and that is what means more than anything. I cherish all that you taught me about being a good person and how material things do not last but family is forever. I miss you so much and I always will.

Today is the most special day ever
The day our dad was born
How did we get so lucky
And yet we are still so torn

He was a blessing to all around him
Always so wonderful and kind
He loved and cared about us so much
He was a dad like no other kind

Words can´t explain his demeanor
And to be around him was such a rush
He was so full of laughter and humor
Not to mention his warm hugs and touch

We feel so sad without him
And we wish that he was still here
But we know that he is in heaven
So we think of him with cheer

Thank you for being our dad
You were a blessing beyond belief
You will always be missed and loved
And we will have to deal with the grief

Happy Birthday to our dad. We love you MORE.

I wish we had just one more day
to spend with our sweet dad. You always made us feel so special and we knew how much you loved us.
You taught us the most important things in life and what life was really about and it was never about material things. You were so much fun to be around and you made something as simple as a cup of coffee with you exciting. Thank you dad for being so kind to everyone and for loving us so much. We will forever miss you and your smile. You are and always will be the best dad ever and we were so blessed to have you. Happy Thanksgiving in heaven.

Happy Birthday in heaven to the kindest man on this earth! I tried to sing to you this morning as I was crying thinking of you and the wonderful life you gave us but it was so hard. Nothing is ever the same without you but I know you are making the angels in heaven laugh and bringing your wonderful smile to everyone. Not a day goes by that we do not know how very blessed we were and still are that YOU WERE OUR FATHER. We will always keep your memory alive. Thank you for being so SPECIAL. Love you always and forevermore.

Happy Father´s Day Dad,
Not a day will ever go by that we do not wish you were here with us. Your love was priceless and can never be replaced and still to this day people tell us there will never be another man as kind as you. We were so blessed that you made all the times with you so memorable and that is what keeps us going. Thank you for always loving your girls and teaching us right from the start how to be a good person and for being such a wonderful father. God truly blessed us with you. We will always love and miss you

Here we are again dad
Another year without you
Our hearts are very broken
We don't know what to do

Missing you is awful
Something so hard to bear
But we really knew you loved us
And how very much you cared

Blessed now are the angels
Who have our sweet dad
Living his life in heaven
Remembering the family he had

Counting our blessings daily
That god blessed us with you
To be our loving father
A daughter's dream come true

Now that we do not have him
You wonder where your life would be
If only we had one more day
With such a man as he

So cherish your moments with loved ones
Tell them you LOVE them everyday
For tomorrow is never promised
And you will MISS THEM IN EVERY WAY!

Forever in our hearts

I remember Frank from my days as a bouncer at The Bolero in Brooklyn, Baltimore MD. Frank always called me out during his shows and we shared plenty of laughs together during the bands' breaks. He always played Rawhide for me every night. He always had a big smile & a hearty handshake. Sorry to hear of his passing at such a late date, but thinking of him & the Country Outlaws playing at The Bolero every weekend brought a big smile to my face. He was a good friend during my time there. Rest easy Frank !!!

Dad,
Yesterday was one year that you left us and I still cry everyday. I know you would not want us to do that, and you would say "life is short baby so go have fun" but life without you is so different. Your love and kindness was unlike anything or anyone on this earth. No one could ever take your place in our hearts and I wish so much I could just have that one more smile one more hug and one more day but it was not meant to be so I will forever cherish all the blessings of having such a wonderful dad that left me with so many loving memories. Thank you for being the dad that always worked so hard for us and showed us more love than we could ever have hoped for. I miss that dad, and I miss you and love you more than you could ever imagine and I always will be the girl that loved her dad more than anything on this earth. Always and forever....your very proud daughter.

Kim,
Debbie & I are so sorry for your loss.We are keeping you and family in our prayers.I wanted to share something about Uncle Bill & my Dad that showed how much the family meant to the both of them. When they heard that Bus Horne both Bill & Dad dropped everything and headed down to see Frank come in and help get him parked. Dad & Bill the day of the Reunion would also stand around between the two brick pillows in the campground around 11 am waiting on our South Carolina relatives to arrive. Dad would constantly look at his watch. Both Bill & Dad truly loved the Family Reunion. These are simple thoughts I wanted to share with you that are so precious. We love you. Ashley & Debbie

Life is a picture puzzle, and we go through our lives collecting pieces to make up an image both of who we are and who we've known, and what we've done and what we've left behind. Frank's name and smiling face are on several pieces of my picture puzzle, and he was a memorable part of my life. I hope that I'm remembered as being on a couple of his, as he was a good and lasting friend.

Rest easy, my buddy.

As I sit here without you with my heart breaking and I realize you really are gone to heaven I have to be thankful for all my many wonderful memories you left me with. You were the most amazing, caring, generous and loving dad any girl could ever hope for and I was blessed to be your daughter. I will forever cherish every moment I spent with you. Thank you for being our dad and teaching us the true meaning of family. We will get to make that last family reunion when I meet you in heaven. I love you dad...MORE.

Message continued:

we started playing for Frank the next weekend at the White Gables in Millersville. That was the start of an almost 20-year run. A couple years later, Phil moved back to Kentucky. I stayed with Frank almost 20 years, almost unheard of back in those days. Frank was much more than a bandleader as well as a dam good front man, he was more like an older brother, a wiser, smarter older brother. We were working what was then known as "House Jobs" and whenever we left one job we had another one by the next weekend. I laughed many times about what I called the "Turner Mystique" . . . just the mention of his name would open doors for us that would be closed to most other bands. O all the years that I've been playing music, the almost 20 years that I played for Frank are still my favorite memories.

Rest in peace, Frank . . . . We love you!

I first met Frank in 1965, in a small honky tonk outisde of Fort Meade, Md. the name of the joint was "Margret's Odenton Restarramt." He was working the weekend nights with his band, I was working with another band and we had a couple of mid-week nights. The joint was plastered with signs advertising "Frank Turner & the Country rhythm Boys." My buddy Phil McGuire, was also with the same band as I was, playing drums. After some of the customers started asking us if we knew Frank and telling us how good he was, Phil and I decided a night out as in order. The night we showed up took seats in the back of the place to be as inconspuicous as possible. Well, that lasted about 30 seconds. First thing was one of the customers comes over to the table dragging Frank wit him to meet us. I was amazed at the warmth and genuine friendliness that Frank displayed, after all he did knot know us from Adam. After a few minutes of small talk, it was time for him to go to work. When he opened his show, the first thing he said was, "Good evening everyone, Welcome to Maggie's outhouse." Everyone started laughing, even Margret, from behind the bar! I was amazed that he could pull that off. After they did a few songs, I said to Phil, "How come we don't sound like that?" Phil's reply, in his best Kentucky drawl was "Cuz we ain't got him." Before the night was over Frank had invited us onto the stage to play a few songs behind him. I was amazed at that, he had no clue what we sounded like. That night was the start of a 50+ year friendship. After that night we made many trips to see Frank and the guys, great musicians and they always seemed genuinely glad to see us.

Well, fast forward to 1966. I got a phone call late one night, it was Frank calling from the bar. He said I need a bass layer and a drummer. Without a seconds hesitation, I said, you've got them. His response was good I'll call you tomorrow with the details. Thus my career as a "Country Rhythm Boy" began;

Frank was a true friend. My aunt and uncle loved to hear him sing and I would take them to the Club Derby to hear him. When my uncle had cancer and could no longer go Frank would come to his home and sing for him. He played at my wedding 44 years ago and I will always treasure his friendship. Prayers to his family and know that he is in a better place.

What a heart breaking loss this is for all of us. You were truly one of kind that's for sure. I remember when I got sick you called to check on me and to see how I was doing. I could hear the cracking in your voice but you told me to stay positive and you were sure I was going to be ok and you were right. When you got sick I posted a positive message everyday for over a year. I was hoping you would be ok too and if anyone deserved a miracle it was you. God had other plans and here we are. We know you tried to come back to us , to your Kimmy and your girls because you were always a fighter and this time wouldn't be any different. I'm a better person for knowing you and so are a lot of other people. You left us all with so many good memories and we are going to miss you . Until we meet again Rest easy my dear friend we will all carry you in our hearts forever.

Dad
There are not enough words to begin to tell you how very much I love you. You were my dad , mom and friend rolled up in one. I always knew no matter what if I needed you all I had to do was pick up the phone and you would be there. I miss calling you and hearing "hey buddy" on the other end or you and Kim singing happy birthday to me every year on the phone.
You had a smile on your face in ever picture. I'm gonna miss you singing and playing your guitar and I hope your singing in the Angels choir . Thank you for leaving your voice on my "The night before Christmas "book I will cherish it forever.
I know you tried so hard to come back to us but now your struggle is over . I love you and will meet you in heaven when my time comes. Watch over us from up there I love you dad . Sharon
