Frank Uhl Obituary
Lancaster: Frank Uhl, age 75 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 28, 1942 in Lancaster, Ohio son of the late Harry F. and Rosemary (Snoke) Uhl. Frank worked as a union operating engineer (heavy machinery operator). He retired from the union and established and operated Uhl's Backhoe Service (17 yrs) as well as serving as Berne Twp Trustee (24 yrs). He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sugar Grove (54 yrs) where he served as an usher (30 yrs+).
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Primmer) Uhl; children, Annette Uhl, Tina (Todd) Childers, and Frank Joseph (Tah-Wee-Nah) Uhl II; grandchildren, Dalton Evans (Kirstin Apple), Tanner (Elizabeth Hardwick) Evans, Josie (Levi) Benner, Rachel Childers, Baley Uhl, and Whitney Evans; siblings, John (Donna) Uhl, Harold (Carol) Uhl, Sally (Bill) Sitterley, Carolyn (Joe) Schmidt, and Theresa Vinson; brothers-in-law, Jerry Primmer, Roger (Edie) Primmer, Dave (Janet) Primmer, and Dennis (Denise) Primmer; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to FairHoPe Hospice, or Berne Twp FD. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thurs September 7th at SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with a Vigil Service held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Fri September 8th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sugar Grove, OH/Fr. James A. Walter as celebrant. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, OH.

To the Uhl Family; I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Frank..I have many good memories of visiting your parents house, who were my godparents, and playing with all of you. barb so sorry for your loss. Frank was a very good peson and I also enjoyed his conversations and knowledge. He wasn.t afraid to tell me if I was doing something he didn't gree with either. God bless all! We will miss a great person.

I have many wonderful memories of Frank. He had a great laugh and a warm smile. He always made everyone feel like family. He contributed to all of life in so many ways. He will live on in the hearts of many.
