Dear Bette,
We honor the legacy you and your husband gave us at BHM, thank you for everything you have done...
Prayers for you as you adjust to this new season with Pastor Fred enjoying the presence of our LORD.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalms 23 KJV
We keep you in our heart and prayers
Love,
Norvel and Eva Rohrer

Bonnie,David,Lori and Mrs Spring I'm sorry to hear of your loss. What I remember most of your father and husband was his commanding presence. Whether it be in front of the church or in a casual setting his presence in a room always lit it up. I have many fond memories of him and his sense of humor and sharing lots of laughs. It's been many years since I've seen him but seeing this distinguished picture of him brought a smile to my face, that's most definitely the Mr. Spring I remember. Thinking of you all during a difficult time. Rest peacefully Mr. Spring.

Bette and Family,
It's our prayer that the comfort of the Holy Spirit will be with you at this time – that you will sense it and know it to be so. It is so awesome that we have assurance from the Word of God that though Pastor Fred is gone from his body…he is definitely in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We rejoice in that with you!
The years that I (Betty) worked for him are a treasure to me; it was a privilege to be exposed to the wealth of godly wisdom that he possessed. I remember, too, that every day when he came to work he was always dressed to the max; he always gave the Lord his best – and that impression has stuck with me over the years. In ministering to others, whether face-to-face or by letter, he would make sure that what he said was the truth from the Word of God. I learned a reverence for God's Word from him and that has stayed with me. I praise God for him!
He leaves a legacy of wisdom in all those that he came in contact with. We are sad to know that he is gone from the earth, but oh, what a glorious time he is having and someday we will all be there with him – forever!! We love you and pray that your heart will be at peace.

A wonderful man whose life and ministry had a powerful impact on my life...I accepted Christ at the age of 5 in his office at the church, I remember him visiting me when I was sick at home as a little girl and praying for me. I have since been able to appreciate his vision and passion for the church and reaching the city of Sault Ste. Marie with the love of God as I now pastor with my husband in the city of Brampton (which also had purple Sunday school buses at one time as well!) praying for comfort for Mrs. Spring and his family..so thankful for his life and know he is now happy & healed in heaven.
