The Decaro family, what a terrific guy and friend. He sorely will be missed by all. Treasure the memories always. Like someone posted, Fred would say "we're related"...everyone from Cos Cob & the Italian community were related. Bev (Infanti) Derby and husband, Ed Derby (Ed & Fred attended Eastern Jr. High & high school together). Love to all

Dear Fran, Fred III, Meg and family
I cannot even begin to express the sadness I feel on hearing about Fred´s passing. I was so shocked to get this very sad news. Never for a moment did I think this would happen to him. Thru the hospitalization, surgery and rehab, he kept telling us that he was getting better and better and eagerly waiting to be discharged and get back to doing all the things he loves.
He loved you all and his two beautiful granddaughters whom he always talks about. I can imagine how heartbroken you all must be. We feel the same about Fred - he was our family here at Keller Williams and we are going to miss him terribly. He was a great family man and held his family so close to his heart. He was kind and generous and always ready to help anyone in need.
Words cannot express the loss we feel and I cannot imagine what you all must be feeling at this time. I pray for Fran and all the family for courage and strength at this difficult time.
May his soul Rest in Peace!
With my deepest sorrow and sympathies

Dear Fred Meg Amy and Mary - our thoughts and prayers are with all of you- we have fond memories whenever we met your Dad / grandfather- he always greeted us with a big smile and a warm bear hug!! Always engaged us into fun conversations about how we were all doing and how his family was . He was quite the man around town - knew everyone ! And if he wasn´t sure he would say he was probably related to them anyway ! He always a walking archive ! He kept up to date on things all over town and would always say how proud he was of his son who graduated from Harvard !! A father couldn´t be more proud of his son and when he got married we all danced at that wedding !!! Now his grand children were the most precious people in his life and when my children were smaller he always showered them with such praise - we know he did the same a hundred fold more with Amy and Mary - a wonderful DeCaro legacy will shine for many years to come - May he rest in peace and continue to shine his light through all of you- love from the Sam Romeo Family - and the Eddie Thivierge Family
