Having been a lifelong inhabitant of Grinstead Hill, I got to see Fred often when I went in the store. He was always there with a kind smile, a joke, and he always asked me about my family. I am very glad I got to know this man during his life, and my sympathy goes to his family over the loss of a wonderful human being.

I met Fred years ago when I was looking for a job. He never knew a stranger, he was always helping someone. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It was such a privilege to know Freddie and know him as a Friend. I can proudly claim him as a dear cousin. We spent quality time together during his illness and he was so courageous and always had that sweet smile on his face. I will miss him dearly. May God Bless the family and comfort you in your loss. You can be assured he is still joyful in Gods loving arms as he was on this earth.
