Fred Abbott Pidgeon of Glen Ellyn for four years A Mass for Fred Abbott Pidgeon, 83, formerly of Sun City West, Ariz., for 12 years, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at St. James the Apostle Church, Glen Ellyn, with Father John Ouper, officiating. Interment is private. Born Aug. 26, 1924, in Houston, he died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Fred was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Hogan); loving father of Mike (Wendla), Paul (Kathleen), Susan (Wayne), Mary, Matthew (Margo) and Charles; and dearest grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of nine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Heart Association, appreciated.
