Fred L. Thomsen, age 79, at rest Oct. 9, 2012, of Rosemont, beloved husband of the late Bobbe Jo, nee Whitehorn and the late Constance I., nee Andersen; loving father of Lawrence S. Thomsen and Robert J. (Janice) Thomsen and Kristi (Manuel) Neira and Kerry (Dan) Scheunemann; son of the late Fred K. and Margaret Thomsen; fond grandfather of Nicole (Tony) Ken (Samantha), Jim, Connie, Daniel and Bennett; great- grandfather of Tyler and Bella; dear brother of Patsy Thomsen and the late Alice Betts; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Monday beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home proceeding to Our Lady of Hope Church in Rosemont for Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
