The Rev. F.M. Jackson was a great man of God who loved God, loved his wife, his family, his church and was always a Godly presence whenever you encountered him. As a child growing up at Greater St Mary Baptist Church, I always remembered Rev. Jackson greeting everyone with a smile and a handshake. He was always kindhearted and respectful of everyone!!! Rev. Jackson was the faithful Assistant Pastor during the 55 plus years my Grandfather in the Ministry, the Rev. Charlie Williams, was the legendary Pastor of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church. Rev. Jackson was a great provider for his family, working very hard during the week in the community, always letting the light of Jesus shine through!!! I remember his sermons to be powerful and dynamic, and filled with an urgency of living for God always!!! He and his beloved wife of 60 plus years, Sis. Lois Dotson Jackson were truly faithful and dedicated to God, their church and were extremely generous with their time, resources, prayers and support to so many people from all walks of life. I was one of the blessed ones to be invited into their home, along with my Mother, Sis. Molly Stene Cole, (who was the church pianist for 50 years,) to enjoy a one-of-a-kind soul food dinner, including the homemade crispy fried chicken that only Sis. Lois Jackson could prepare!!! Praise be to God, after living long, long lives in this world, Rev. & Sis. Jackson are reunited in Heaven. We who love God and live to honor Him shall see them again in that Great Reunion of the Saints in the Sky!!! We will recognize them as they wear those well-deserved CROWNS of RIGHTEOUSNESS given only by God!!!
May God Bless their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved ones who loved them and took GREAT care of them in their GOLDEN YEARS---you shall be blessed of GOD!!!
Love always in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Zack Winn

Grandpa Jackson was one of the greatest men I've known.
I will never forget the greatest times going to my grandparents' house to eat, play with the neighborhood kids and talking to my grandparents especially Grandma Lois.
He will be greatly missed. Love you always
