FREDDIE L., 60
Gainesville - Mr. Freddie L. Ziegler, Jr., affectionately known as "John Wayne", age 60, passed away June 20, 2014 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center. Mr. Ziegler was a member of Westside Baptist Church, the Rising Sun Lodge #10, an honorary grandfather of Pink Glove Ladies Club, and a graduate of Indian River Community College.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ziegler, Gainesville, FL; children, Sean Richardson, Jeremy Ziegler, Sieta Ziegler, Tanisha Hines, Tarod Brown, all of Gainesville, FL, April Dorsey, Ft. Pierce, FL, Franchesa Barnes, Tallahasse, FL; siblings, Reginald Ziegler, Gainesville, FL, Kelly Smith, Miami, FL, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ziegler will be held 1:00pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 at First Morning Star Baptist Church, Rev. Jerome Lennon, Pastor, Rev. Charles Williams, officiating; burial will follow in Rutledge Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Ziegler will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2:00 until 7:00pm, and on Friday at the Church from 12noon until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet on Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ziegler, 5333 N.W. 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, at 12:15pm to form the cortege.

RIP Uncle John Wayne Zeigler, I miss and Love you so much. I know God loved you more so he called you home to serve in His Kingdom. Gonna miss our talks and how you would take time to explain in details everything. Gone but never forgotten, your memory will forever live.
