My condolences to Fred's family. I worked in the warehouse with Fred back in the early days at Westward Tools in Edmonton. I remember Fred's laugh back in the good old days. We had a lot of fun back then with all the good coworkers at Westward. Fred was always great to talk to and one of the nicest person I have ever met.

My heartfelt condolences to the Dunn family and friends. I knew Fred from my first day at Westward Tools in the spring of 1984. Fred was a seasoned warehouseman by then and he certainly helped me find my way as young man starting out. I have many fond memories of working along side Fred and the many social events we attended together. I remember one event we were driving to and Fred still had his 72 Chevy, it was getting a bit rusty by then, he turned a quick corner and his tool box in the trunk fell out onto the road from a hole in the trunk/fender. We all had a good laugh about that. He retired the 72 and got his Malibu shortly after. I have only kind words to say about Fred. While I did not see him since his retirement, I still miss him. Attached is a company photo from 1990 when we were a very small team. RIP Fred.

Our condolences go out to Fred's family. He was a gentle person and his loss will be felt by all the regulars at the Continental Inn. He was there at the beginning, an original at the Wednesday night seniors to enjoy the Country and Old Time music.

My prayers are with all of the Dunn family. His grandfather and my grandmother were brother and sister and my father was named after his grandfather.

I have so many memories of Fred, and each one has a smile attached to it. My daughters and I were shocked when we heard that his life had come to such a tragic end. In fact, one of my daughters just saw him in March when she travelled to Edmonton for her Baba's birthday party. There were two things that Baba always prefaced with "Good Ol'" One of them was Good Ol' Eaton's and the other one was Good Ol' Fred. She always admired him for being such a loyal friend. We send our deepest sympathy to his family at this sad time. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Judy Beal (Pasieka), Toronto ON

Fred was a friendly fellow. I saw him frequently at Westmount Mall. Shock and sadness fills my heart. His smile will live forever with those who had a chance to meet him.
