Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 25, 2024.
Frederick Keith Truax (Keith), age 72, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Fred and Joyce (Kofford) Truax were the parents to Keith, born on August 11, 1951 in Wausau. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Jules; his five children, Ryan (Jessica) Truax, Arrin Truax, Jessica Stengle (David Merriam), Jennifer (Brandon) Sherfinski and Justin Stengle; his two sisters, Georgia Truax & Beth (Bernie) Zwicky; grandchildren, Jordan, Connor, Vander, Drake, Hadley, Remington, and Ellianna.

Keith served in the National Guard; he went on to become a fireman & EMT for the City of Mosinee. He worked at Mosinee Papers for 36 years until his retirement. Keith also had a passion for welding and had his own business. Once retired, Keith was able to thoroughly enjoy his love for hunting, fishing, traveling with Jules, and spending time with the family and was honored to be called "Papa".

The family would like to thank the Aspirus Oncology Department for their care. Following Keith's wishes there will be no funeral service. Monetary gifts can be sent to the family for a future memorial honoring Keith's love of nature.
