I had the privilege of working with Fred Leydorf at the law firm of Willis, Butler & Schiefly, in Los Angeles, where he was a partner for many years. He was highly regarded by his clients, as well as the attorneys and professional staff members of the firm. I very much enjoyed working with him and admired his intelligence and integrity. I remember him as always displaying a good sense of humor. May he rest in peace and his family be comforted by their memories together.

I take solace knowing that Dad is now with his brother Bobby, my namesake, who died at age 16. And, as my brother Bill said, he´s happy sipping a martini while chatting with Mom. Onwards o father of mine! Love, Bob

One of my earliest memories is of our family´s Lake Arrowhead cabin. My dad and I went outdoors into the snow, surrounded by the scent of what may have been pine trees. He first got an icicle dripping from the cabin and gave it to me like a popsicle. Running away, I clutched my prized possession. The snow was so deep that I eventually just disappeared into it. As a small child, the snow engulfed me, leaving about half of my body exposed. I saw my dad running towards me with his arms outstretched, with a look of both worry and amusement. He scooped me up, hoisted me onto his shoulders, and carried me back into the cabin. It was such a sweet father daughter moment.

My father and I both attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. One time, he visited me on a football game weekend. It was one of the funnest moments we had together. Go Blue!
