Frederick STINSON

STINSON, Frederick Wesley Peacefully at Kelowna General Hospital on Friday, March 12th after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Ottawa on September 26, 1932, Fred is mourned by son Stephen of Kelowna, daughters Susan Manns (Eric), Karen Rozon (Gilles), Wendy Woolnough of Ottawa, as well as former wife of 27 years, Lucille Stinson, sisters Eleanor St. Amand of Ottawa, Marjorie Unsworth (Fred) of Smiths Falls, and brother Gordon (Gail). Fred is predeceased by mother Lillian and father Frederick and by sisters Gladys Lachaine, Patricia Hughes, brothers William and Robert all of Ottawa. He was also the proud, loving grandpa of ten and great grandpa of two. He will be missed by his many friends and family in Ottawa and Kelowna. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Westboro United Church, 450 Churchill Avenue, North, reception to follow. Private family inurnment at Capital Memorial Gardens.
