Frederick Wagner Obituary
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with the Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating. Burial will be at Wisner Cemetery in Ophir Township.
Visitation will be one our prior to services in the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Sandwich to Floyd and Unabelle (Newell) Wagner. He was a 1962 graduate of Mendota High School.
He was employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation and also self-employed in a number of La Salle County businesses.
He is survived by one son,Chad Baker of Sandwich; two grandchildren, Jacob and Benjamin; three sisters, Kathleen A. Wagner and Kathryn H. Wagner both of Mendota, and Susan J. (Ed) Pakenham of Triumph; one brother, Craig (Pat) Wagner of Utica; and one brother-in-law, John Elston of Mendota.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sarah J. Elston.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
