To the Weinhold Family,
My deepest sympathies to you all. I have just heard the news of Freddie's passing and I can truly say my world is a little sadder place . Freddie was an icon in Bethel Park and an inspiration in my life. I worked for Freddie for many years and learned so much from him, things I carry with me in my career to this day but Freddie wasn't just my boss he was my friend. We shared many laughs together and when I called Fred a few years ago for a reference he still called me "slick". I haven't seen Fred for about 18 years but he still had the ability to make me laugh, he will always have a place in my heart.

Dear Lori,Leslie and Lynnie,
Sorry we missed the funeral, we just got back from vacation, and read the death notice in the paper.Freddie was a great neighbor and friend. We missed seeing him at the restaurant in Bethel the last couple of years. I got a picture of the three of you at Lori's daughters wedding. Maybe we will run into you some day We only live over the hill from you. Dave and Becky Norcutt

Dear Weinhold Family:
I am writing this for my mother, Jean Davis. She and my late father (Roy) and the rest of the big Davis clan enjoyed family dinners at Freddie's II over many years. Freddie always made such a big fuss over my folks and the rest of us. He was such a fun-loving great guy and I'm sure you will miss him deeply. Our sincere sympathy on the loss of your Freddie. Jean Davis and the Davis family

DEAR JACKIE,
WE WERE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT FREDDIE. STEVE AND FREDDIE GO WAY BACK TO THE DAYS THEY WERE SELLING PIZZA AND SNOWCONES AT THE COUNTY FAIR! THEY ALWAYS ENJOYED EXCHANGING STORIES OF HOW THINGS WERE WHEN THEY WERE GROWING UP! THEY WERE REUNITED AGAIN AT "BROOKWOOD" WHERE STEVE ALWAYS SAID "MY FRIEND FREDDIE WAS THERE TODAY". WE WILL MISS HIM. YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN OUR PRAYERS

Lori, Lynn, & Heidi
Sorry to hear of the passing of Freddie. He was a good friend.
We started his first business - the "Miracle Inch" after H.S. and got some flak from the Health Dept. for my chicken sign advertising "farm fresh" eggs. They weren't!
I met all of you at various times and remember you were as nice as he was. Heidi might recall a "Mon" river cruise with my daughters and family in 1984. Always spent time with Freddie on my visits back there - drinking, gambling, watching sports on TV, and shutting down the restaurants. As you know, he had a fine sense of humor and was great with the customers.
Again, sorry and my condolences to his wife Jackie. Best of luck to you all in the future.
And to my fellow '58 H.S. grads - what a great class! We lost a good guy. I'll try to make the next reunion.

Was with Freddie in the Class of '58. Always looked him up upon visits to the Bethel Park area. Went to the reunion in July and missed seeing Freddie. He was a great, funny guy and will be missed. My condolences to you all.

To the family of Fred Weinhold:
I deeply regret that I was unable to attend the memorial service. I've been out of the state for the past 2 weeks. Freddie has been a good friend and business associate for over 20 years and he has provided me with great opportunities in my life. I will truely miss him and his friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Dear Jackie, Heidi, Lori, Lynn and Leslie: We were very saddened to hear about Freddie. Fred and his restaurants are some of our nicest memories of ‘back home’ in Bethel Park. The “Miracle Inch” and Freddie’s Pizza were two of the places frequented by Bob in his past and together we came to Freddie’s on South Park Road a few times a week. It was always so very nice to be welcomed by Freddie and enjoy fun, cordial conversations with him during our visits. He is one man who touched a lot of people with his personality and charm and will be missed by many. We wish you comfort and peace and wish we could be there to pay our respects and see you.

To the Weinhold Family: I grew up with Freddie's Pizza as a child - it was our Friday treat for good work at school. I carried on the tradition with my husband and son, as we go to Freddie's for dinner at least twice a month. Thanks for helping me make such special memories with my family. You will truly be missed as a fixture in Bethel Park. God bless you!! Our prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Dear Weinhold family;
It seems you could not go anywhere that the poeple in Bethel Park didn't know Fred!! I had the good fortune of working for Fred for a short time and all 3 of our kids worked at Freddie's II from the age of 16 off and on thru the college years. (And one of them even after college!) You could always count on Fred to make you laugh! Be comforted in knowing that he is at peace and happy. And the angels are rejoicing!

I was just a little girl when we first went to Freddies Pizza in Bethel Park. Freddie was always there and my dad was his friend. I will remember how special he made me feel and what a special night it was to get pizza from Freddies. His memory is one of warmth, kindness and love.

My husband, Walt, and I graduated with Freddie from Bethel High School. My memories with Freddie, however, go way back to when Freddie worked at the little gas station at Kings School Road. My friend and I used to walk down Route 88 and sit and talk to Freddie for hours while he "worked". He was indeed a good friend to many people. He also gave my brother, Kenny Bloch, his first job at Freddie's Pizza and under the circumstances - - Freddie was a very good boss and friend to Ken. Ken worked for him for many, many years. Freddie was very fortunate to have a very loving family to care for him during these last troubling years...and I know that he knew you were all there for him. The Class of 1958 missed Fred at our most recent reunion and he will be remembered in our hearts at every other reunion that we have.

The Weinhold Family:
I've known Freddie for many, many years. He was my friend. Always called me "the redhead" or "Red". Freddie hired my daughter, Kellie, to bus for him. It was her first job. In the years that followed he always asked about her. Freddie also presented me with my engagement ring from my husband while I was serving at Piacquadio's while John sat there and smiled. A great memory. Freddie was a big teddy bear with a heart just as big as him and a little boy look that melted your heart. How he loved his daughter! I am sorry he had to suffer, but now the suffering is over. I will pray for Fred and his family and friends. I'm proud he was my friend.
Sincerely, Renee, Kellie Renners, & John
