Fritz Thompson Obituary
Frederick “Fritz” Jess Thompson, 63, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Thursday, November 24 , 2022.
He was born June 29, 1959 in Grove, Oklahoma to Frederick Lawrence Thompson and Lillian Mae Rutherford Thompson. He married Danette Tinsley December 31, 1996 and worked in advertising/marketing for over twenty years at Wal-Mart. Fritz was a artist, loved the Florida beaches and painting. He enjoyed tinkering with and driving muscle cars but above all he loved his wife, children, grandkids and family very much. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Butch Thompson.
Survivors are his wife Danette of the home; children, Tyler Thompson of Pea Ridge, Ashley Thompson Wolfenden (Ross) of Pea Ridge; siblings, Teresa Rose of Broken Arrow, Ok., Jim Thompson of Pea Ridge, Hans Thompson (Jimmie) of Centerton, Ar.; grandchildren, Owen Harris, Hudson Winkley, Drake Wolfenden and Mason Wolfenden.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, Ar. 72762

Danette, Tyler, and Ashley ... It's hard to find the right words to express our sorrow upon hearing that Fritz is gone. I'll always treasure the memories I have of working with Fritz at Wal-Mart, "porch sitting" on Friday afternoons, wrenching, and just hanging out. He was a great friend, and one of a kind. Fritz will be missed.

Danette and family, I am truly sorry for you loss.I was shocked to hear of Fritz’s passing. I hadn’t seen Fritz in years, too many. I always thought we would run into each other and have a beer reminiscing of old times not just at Walmart but also the many times we hung out just having a blast. Fritz was one of the most laid back and friendly guys I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

Danette and family, I was stunned to hear of Fritz's passing. I haven't seen him since we both left Walmart Marketing in the late 2000s. I worked with him closely many years at Walmart.
