G. Timothy "Tim" McMillan

George Timothy "Tim" McMillan, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Tim grew up in Clemson, SC, a son of the late Covington "Goat" and Edith Elizabeth Greer McMillan. Tim was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and graduated from Clemson University. He loved spending time at the beach and being around his family. His passion was sports and especially the Clemson Tigers, as he spent countless Saturdays in Death Valley. Having grown up in Clemson, attended the University and had a father who coached football at Clemson, he was all Clemson. Tim was a devoted father to his three children and two grandchildren. Surviving are sons, Ryan McMillan and wife, Lauren of Charlotte, NC and William McMillan of Mandeville, LA; and daughter, Leah McMillan of Atlanta, GA; brother, John McMillan of LaGrange, GA; sister, Cecelia Pegram of Myrtle Beach, SC and sister, Cheryl Bynum of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren William "Truett" McMillan and Kathryn "Hyland" McMillan. Graveside services will be 11 am, Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Woodland Cemetery on the campus of Clemson University. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
