I worked with Gail for years, it was a blessing to meet such a wonderful woman in my lifetime. She said to us “The day I quit working is the day I die”
Many memories made, as she ran the carpet binder, with her amazing great grand son cale.

I met Gail in 1984 and enjoyed many dinners with her on my frequent trips to Calgary. She was a wonderful human being and a free spirit. Amazing laugh and a love for life. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. It was a blessing to know her.

I enjoyed knowing Gail at the University of Calgary. She taught me some of my early school library courses. She was so full of the joy of life.

I lived with Gail as a university student back in the late 70's...my job was to look after the atrium in exchange for rent...a pretty sweet deal for a starving student. Not only that but she had the best darn wine cellar anyone could ask for! I will always remember her laugh, her joy of living and the fact that she let me keep the little kitten I brought home while still in school. Rest in peace Gail...I truly enjoyed the short time we spent together

I enjoyed working with Gail during my time at CPL. Her knowledge of the art scene and her joie de vivre were an inspiration and her laugh echoes in my memory!
