1949 - 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gail Bowen (nee Crawford), who passed away on February 9. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Gail was born in 1949 in Island Brook, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family. She was a kind and loving mother who always put others first and touched the lives of everyone she met.
We will always cherish the memories we have of Gail and take comfort in knowing that she is at peace now.
She is survived by her husband Hugh Bowen and her children Kimberley (Manuel), Scott (Line) and Misti (Gaetan). She was also a loving and devoted grandmother who was cherished by her four grandchildren Melina, Riley, Kellyanne and Makenna. Gail also leaves behind her sister Lois (Rudy) who lives in Florida that she enjoyed visiting and spending time with. She will be greatly missed by her niece Tara (Scott) and great-niece Ever, as well as many other family members and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Earl Crawford and Audrey Kerr. 
Family and friends are invited for visitations at the Complexe Funéraire Steve Elkas (4230, rue Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke) on Friday, February 24 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, February 25 from 10 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:30 in the Elkas funeral home.
