Gail Marie Buckley, age 68, passed away Thursday May 2, 2019 at the Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation Long Term Care Facility. She was born in Rochester, NH on July 25, 1950. Gail's career consisted of many years working at local shoe factories. While working, she earned her GED and began working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. She worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until July of 1986. Gail enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and going to the beach. She had the most beautiful flower gardens, and loved to sit and watch the birds. Gail attended many seminars, and volunteered her time earning several certificates. She was an avid reader and took a liking to learning about natural remedies. She was Pagan, and known to her Pagan friends as Gael. She devoted most of her time learning and journaling about Paganism. Her love for nature, crystals and witchcraft was no secret. She was proud to be Pagan, and enjoyed attending any spiritual ritual she could. She enjoyed reading Tarot Cards, and performing Palm Readings. She is survived by her brother, Paul Glidden and wife Susan of VA; her daughters, Sunna Ziakas and wife Beth of NH, Mika Buckley of NH, a step daughter, Tina Chapman and husband Daniel of United Kingdom, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her mother, Mary Glidden 1930-2018, her father Richard Glidden 1927-2018. Gail has requested to not have services.
