DANVILLE - Gail C. Davies, 60, of 11 Smith Road, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, at her residence.

She was born July 27, 1944, in Delaware County, a daughter of the late Jack and Myrtle (Jones) Pyle. She married Richard Davies, who survives.

Gail served on the board of Montour County Children and Youth services.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 42 years, are one son, Richard W. Davies of Kennewick, Wash.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jill and Gerald Hertzler of Danville and Janice Davies of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren, Gwen, Heather, Trevor, Savanna, Levi and Erica; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Meryl and Joseph Johnston of Limerick and Eileen Keller of Honeybrook.

There will be no viewing. Funeral services will be held at the discretion of the family.

Those wishing to do so may make a contribution in Gail's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are being handled by Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville.
