Gail Ekstrand

When I started my educational career in 1992, Gail was my first principal at Kissel Hill Elementary. She was an inspiring example for me, and an all around classy lady. My sincere sympathy to her loved ones.

I admired Gail and the confidence in which she carried herself as a leader in the Warwick School District. She believed in me as a young graduate entering the teaching field giving me my first classroom of students. As I moved into an administrative role in the community I strived to lead the way Gail did. I am a life that was influenced and blessed by Dr. Gail Ekstrand.

We planted a tree as a remembrance of her strength, individuality, expression, calmness and inner beauty that connected to everything around her. Gail will be missed by so many.
