Gail Shankle Obituary

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Gail H. Shankle went to be with the Lord and the love of her life Sunday Oct. 8, 2006, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Shankle was a daughter of the late J.C. and Beulah Lunsford Hartsock, and had made her home in Bristol all of her life. She was a former employee of Raytheon, Sperry and Electrolux, attended Shiloh Baptist Church and enjoyed her time at the Slater Center. Gail was the widow of Bruce Shankle and was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Shankle.
She is survived by her children, Annette Wesley and husband Roy, Todd Shankle and wife Lisa, Chantal Sexton and husband Mike Jr., Tanya Spears and husband Buddy, Shannon Peterson and husband Craig and Tanner Shankle and wife Amanda; and grandchildren, Brandon Wallace, Cody Spears, Colton Shankle, Erika Sexton, Parker Sexton, Dalton Peterson, Sullivan Peterson and Channing Gail Peterson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Walter Statzer officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Wesley Sr. Mike Sexton Jr., Buddy Spears, Craig Peterson, Brandon Wallace, Randall Brooks, Jerry Peterson and Bill Buckles. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Weaver Funeral Home.

I am sorry for your lose,Gail was a very wounderful person and always in my prayers,But like the paper said she is truley with the love of her life and can finally rest now.I just now found out about her and wanted to tell you all how sorry I am and that she will always be remembered in my heart and you all are all in my prayers.May God bless all of you.
