age 84, of Columbiana (Kingdom Community), unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 20, 2017. The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Phillip Rush and Rev. Darrell Sammons officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Mrs. Talton was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, loved her Sunday School class, and was a supporter of the Kingdom Volunteer Fire Department. Mrs. Talton is preceded in death by her parents: James and Pauline Myles of Birmingham; daughter: Pat Talton Jones of Columbiana; and three older siblings: James, Rayetta, and Curtis. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years: Bobby Joe Talton; daughter: Donna Pauline of Hobbs, NM; son-in-law: Bill Jones (Pat) of Columbiana; 4 grandchildren: Gail Sammons (Darrell) of Clanton, Ester Shifflett (Danny) of Columbiana, Gaia Faust (Freeman) of Hobbs, NM, and Kenny Jones (Bridgett) of Sylacauga; 9 great grandchildren: Laura, Rachell and Amber Sammons, Jade and Payten McLellan, Austin and Chase Shifflett, and Sophia and Leo Faust; numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and an enormous number of close friends and wonderful neighbors. My deepest condolences. Gail worked for my family's company, Automotive Headquarters/Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts for a number of years. She was smart, gracious, professional, a wonderful employee and an asset to our company.
