Furnas, Gale R., age 57, Lincoln died December 3, 2010 at his home. Born July 10, 1953 in Falls City to Clyde and Norma (Kanady) Furnas. Graduate Falls City High School and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Executive Vice-President and Director of Lending with TierOne Bank for 33 years. President, Frontier Bank, appointed November 1, 2009. SURVIVORS Wife: Sherry Daughter: Heather, Lincoln Mother: Norma Furnas, Falls City Brother and sister-in-law: Mike & Vicki Furnas, Lincoln Sister and brother-in-law: Vicki & Joe Pflaum, Hays, KS Many nieces and nephews Sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law: Sandy & Randy Bowen, Kingsport, TN Karen & Bob Scott, Lincoln Bobbi Meyer, Lincoln Angie Meyer, Lincoln Brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Roger & Connie Meyer, Lincoln PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Son, Adam; Father, Clyde; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Edward and Merna Meyer. FUNERAL SERVICES 11:00 am, Tuesday, First Plymouth-Congregational U.C.C., 2000 “D� Street, Lincoln with Rev. Dr. Jim Keck officiating. Burial, Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation, 9 am to 8 pm Monday, with family greeting friends from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln; one hour before services at the church. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Adam Furnas Fund – “A fund established to provide financial assistance to families having children facing medical challenges�.
