Story By Kenneth G Armstrong - Nephew
Gale D Youtsey 1965
From the time your dad was young he loved to hunt. He was a very good shot. I would follow him around when I could. He stayed with us a short time. I think hunting was his favorite. When I was 15, we went to a sporting goods warehouse in Denver and he helped me pick out an old British 303 army rifle, which I bought so we could go deer hunting together.
When I stayed at your house, in Kit Carson. His other favorite thing was fishing. We would work at his gas station during the day and every now and then we would go fishing at night. We would build a fire on the bank and fish for catfish. I usually fell asleep after a while. Your dad would catch his limit, then go home around 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning. His other favorite thing has been bowling. He belong to a bowling league in several of the different places he lived. He is the one that first took me bowling and taught me.
Years ago your dad and mom took me and one of our neighbor girls to see, The Birds, a Albert Hitchcock thriller . He would listen to western music, I remember him really liking , Ring of fire, when that would come on he would start singing it at the top of his lungs and I would join in. When he stayed with us, he really liked, Blue Berry Hill. He bought the record. That's the first record I think I saw, or anyway that I remember. He also liked Mr. Sandman, Johnny B Goode and Proud Mary.

This is what my dad would say to all those he loved. I know he is looking down on us, but it is still not easy every single day. I know he is in Heaven the richest place to be and I can't wait to see him holding his hand out when it is time for me. I lov

This is what my dad would say to all those he loved. I know he is looking down on us, but it is still not easy every single day. I know he is in Heaven the richest place to be and I can't wait to see him holding his hand out when it is time for me. I love you dad, I'll see you soon, All of us are happy because no suffering you have to bare, God changed all of that when he took your hand and lead you to heaven, just like he had planned.
