I only knew you briefly and it was early on. You always struck me with one word and that was purity. Whether the way you talked or the the family you were part of, i never saw anything but honesty and truth. The people you loved, the friends you made, the hearts you touched. We are so sorry for your loss, Brenda, Chloe, and Madison. Garett was always so kind and warm when we saw him at school, and Wyatt (in the way that only a four year old would remember), says, "I never saw Chloe's daddy with a grumpy face." The last time I saw him he was sitting on the floor at school, with Chloe in his lap. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.

Garett enjoyed what he did everyday and did it well! He was a true professional, excellent at his job and it was a pleasure to have worked with him on our project. Bea and I have so many great memories of Garett. He was a great athlete, father, husband and human being. We will never forget him. A few memories that stand out. He would bring cooked oatmeal in a plastic bag on bike rides rather than a cliff bar. He would never wear a shirt on cold morning runs when we would all have gloves and hats on. He would not drive to beach when he could run or bike there instead. He would always be up for an ocean swim. His car and bike were not flashy. That was not important to him.
