Garrett Osborne Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 9, 2024.
In Loving Memory of Garrett Hunter "GG" Osborne

It is with deep sorrow and profound grief that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Garrett, age 17, on July 9, 2024. GG was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that will never be filled.

Born on January 5, 2007, Garrett was a vibrant and loving soul, full of dreams and

aspirations. He was a student at North East High School, where he excelled

academically and touched the lives of many classmates and teachers with his kindness and infectious smile. He was known for his passion for longboarding and video games, and Garretts' talents and enthusiasm brought joy to all who experienced him.

Garrett is survived by his loving parents, Charles G. Osborne and Kayla Maas; his

biological mother Heather Loomis; siblings, Everett Osborne, Beau Coletta, Avery

Zimmerman, Kaylee McCray (Dylan), Alarah Smithers, and Carter Maas; grandmother Carol (Gamma) Maas,

grandfather Gary Osborne; and a large extended family who cherished every moment spent together. He will also be dearly missed by his many friends and the community that he was an integral part of. One of the brightest lights in Garrett's life was his girlfriend, Ahreyana, who brought immense happiness and love into his world.

Garrett was preceded in death by his grandmothers Renae Osborne and Mary

Amoroso, and his step-grandfather Tom Maas. A memorial service to honor Garrett's life will be held on July 14, 2024 at 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Tad Bowers Funeral Home, North East, Pa. We invite all those who were touched by Garrett's light to join us in celebrating his remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Epilepsy Foundation in Garretts' name.

As we mourn the loss of our dear Garrett, let us also remember the incredible joy he brought into our lives. GG's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Rest in peace, sweet Garrett. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
