Garth Marsh Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 3, 2025.
Garth Eugene Marsh, 70, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on December 31, 2024, of natural causes.

Born on May 17, 1954, in Tucson, Arizona, to Donal A. Marsh and Gertrude Elizabeth Harms, Garth moved with his family to Las Vegas in 1963. After graduating from Las Vegas High School in 1972, he began working at the Alpine Village Inn and later worked for a local linen supply company and a dairy. He found his calling in the Las Vegas hospitality industry, where he made lasting contributions over a career spanning more than 40 years.

In 2012, Garth met Shauna Almada, and they married in 2017. They were known for their inseparable companionship. If Shauna were out and about, Garth would not be far behind.

Garth enjoyed shooting pool, golfing, and watching crime scene dramas. His hobbies reflected his love of both friendly competition and quiet moments of relaxation.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Jacob Harper. Garth is survived by his beloved wife, Shauna; sister, Barbara Atkerson; brothers, Gary and Keith Marsh; son, Benjamin Marsh; daughter, Milissa Marsh; stepchildren, Kayla Harper-McCoy, and Chris Hamilton; and grandchildren, Janaya Cox, Jazzalyn Marsh, Mason Marsh, London McCoy, and Lanaia McCoy.

A public memorial service to honor Garth's life will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Rum Runner Lounge at 1801 E Tropicana Ave #7, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Flowers and donations are appreciated.

May Garth's memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
