Gary Cosser Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 27, 2024.
We respectfully announce the passing of Gary Alan Cosser, who passed away on the 24th of June, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on September 10, 1955, in Baltimore City, Maryland, he lived his final years in Maryland after moving back from Florida, where he faced the challenges of Diabetes and Dementia.

Gary, a graduate of Pikesville High School, was a steadfast member of the workforce, known for his years of loyal service as a bartender and warehouse worker.

An enthusiast of the games of bowling and darts, Gary delighted in the companionship and gentle rivalry these pastimes afforded. His presence at the local lanes and the dartboard gatherings was a source of enjoyment and fellowship for all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Christina McConnell, and her husband, Gary; his treasured grandson, Jonathan Hamilton of Kalispell, Montana and his niece, Jennifer Ramsey, of Maryland. His memory will also be cherished by his best friend, Roswell "Eddie" Jones, and his wife Jacki. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Cosser; his mother, Betty Rose; his stepfather, Clarence Rose; his sister, Brenda Ramsey; and his ex-wife, Denise.

True to Gary's wishes, there will be no services. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Future Care Northwest and Gilchrist Hospice for taking care of Gary in his final days. They suggest that those wishing to pay tribute to Gary's memory may do so by contributing to a charity of their choice .

I shot darts with Gary at the FOP 76 Lodge. He was always smiling and enjoying himself. He and Ros would tell stories about things they did as kids. The one I remember best was when they were in O.C. and Gary had to drive Ros's car in a race because Ros had trouble shifting gears. He will be missed, RIP, my friend.
