Deborah A. Leszczak Marosi - Debie Marosi, 53, of Roselle Park, N.J., passed away on Aug. 26, 2011. In her own words and final requests, Do not weep for me as I am with Jake. A chapel memorial will be held at Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Rd., Kenilworth, N.J., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. Debie spent most of her life caring for others. She was a registered nurse who began her work in 1979 as a staff nurse at Overlook Medical Center. Debie spent the majority of her career working in hospice as a staff nurse, intake coordinator, and hospice liaison. Her hospice work began at West Essex Hospice, but the majority of this work was at Atlantic Home Care and Hospice. Debie was a highly intelligent woman who took on many challenges. Some other highlights of her career included discharge planner at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, business manager at Kimberly Quality Care and presently R.N. coordinator for Information Systems at Atlantic Home Care and Hospice. Debie was a devoted friend and family member. She was a Boy Scout leader for her son, Jacob, and a Girl Scout leader for her niece, Rachel, for many years. She cared for sick family and friends in their homes with no different quality of care than her own patients. She looked after some young friends and family members as if they were her own children, ensuring they were always on the right path. Debie loved creating things that were meaningful, in fact, she was in the process of making a quilt out of her late son's clothing. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross stitch. She was a young student of the New Jersey Ballet and she was a devoted subscriber to the New York City Ballet. Her talents are far too many to summarize. Debie was predeceased by her son, Jacob M. Marosi and her brother, John F. Leszczak Jr. She is survived by her parents, Dolores Morris Leszczak and John F. Leszczak Sr.; brother, Michael Leszczak and his wife, Dawn Leszczak; sisters, Susan Leszczak, Dr. Dolores Leszczak Buli and her husband, Michael Buli, and Dr. Christine Leszczak Fugger and her husband, Charles Fugger; nieces, Rachel Sizemore, Marissa Buli and Emily Fugger and nephews, Michael Buli and Jason Marosi. Others dear to Debie who were mentioned in her final written words are Stephanie and Joseph Ryding, John Signorella, Michael Arena, Jason Carlin, Isabella Yon, and Heather Sizemore.
