I don´t know what made me think of Gary today, but I did. I got to know him through my brother who worked with him at the theater. The stories he could tell would leave me in stitches for hours. We went on trips with him and Gary was the funniest guy I ever met. Rest in peace my friend. You left us far too early. John Sullivan

I WAS SO SADDENED TO READ OF THE PASSING OF GARY. I KNEW GARY FOR MANY YEARS THROUGH TED HANES AND WE OFTEN DID COMIC AND CARD SHOWS WITH TED. GARRY WAS ONE OF THE NICEST MEN I HAVE EVER MET. HE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP A FRIEND. A MORE GIVING PERSON YOU WILL NEVER MEET.
BACK IN 1983, WHEN GARY, WHO WAS A PROJECTIONIST AT THE OLD HOLIDAY THEATRES ON WALDEN AT THE TIME, FOUND OUT I HAD A VERY SMALL ROLE IN THE MOVIE "THE NATURAL" WHICH HAD BEEN FILMED IN BUFFALO, HE TOOK ONE FRAME OF ME OUT OF A MOVIE PRINT FROM THE FILM AND HAD IT MADE INTO A PRINT FOR ME. I STILL HAVE IT ON MY DESK DOWN HERE IN NAPLES AND I SHALL THINK OF GARY EVERY DAY WHEN I LOOK AT IT.
MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND MAY GOD COMFORT ALL THOSE WHO MOURN HIS LOSS.

Dear Evans Family, my deepest sympathies. Gary and I went to Kensington H.S. and reconnected 42 years later on Facebook. Will always remember him for his love of Doc Savage and WWF. A great guy, a good old friend.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Gary's Family and all his friends. He will always be in my thoughts as a great friend and roommate. I will always think of his "Stories" and it will bring a smile to my face. Thank you Gary for introducing me to Vegas, and all the good times in New Jersey and Michigan. Rest in peace my friend!!

Dear Sue,Mark and Family,
We were so very sorry to hear about the loss of Gary. He will truly be missed by everyone. He was a great bother and friend. We will always remember Christmas Eve watching Ozzie, Lucy, and twilight zone. He felt so bad for Ozzie! Treasure all your happy times with him as we will and he will always remain in your heart. He's happy now to be with your mom, dad,and gramma Evans.
