My condolences to Lyn and the Everngam family, Gary's passing was a shock to me, and my husband, Hilary.

Gary, it was a great experience for me to have assisted you for almost three years prior to your appointment to the Bench. You were not just my superior, but you became a close friend to my family too.

Good bye my friend - May you have eternal rest up above with the Lord.

Judge Everngam was not just an awesome Judge but an awesome person as well. I always looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. I will miss him tremendously. I send my condolences to his family and friends.

On behalf of Gary's colleagues and his courthouse family, I offer every sympathy to Lyn and to the Everngam family. We are all so lucky to have shared Gary's friendship, intellect, generosity, kindness. Gary was loved, revered, and respected by everyone at our courthouses. Whether about real property law, computers, fishing, or Game of Thrones - Gary was everyone's 'go to' guy. We all treasure our memories of working with and learning from Gary.

This is to advise that County Executive Isiah Leggett has ordered the
County Flag to be lowered to half-staff July 9, 2018, from sunrise to sunset.
This action is in remembrance of The Honorable Gary G. Everngam,
Associate Judge, Montgomery County,
District Court of Maryland, who died on June 27, 2018.

I didn't know you that well Gary in school but as a Class of "65 classmate it saddens me of your passing. May you rest in peace.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

To the family, my prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing Gary. It was such a privilege to have gotten to known him through working with him on judicial projects. His insight and commitment to practical and efficient solutions were especially valuable since he unselfishly contributed his brilliant technological expertise. Even more valuable was his affable manner that made it easy and pleasurable to be in his presence.

I am so sorry for your loss. Gary grew up the street from me on Orchard Way and I remember him and his family well. Prayers!
