Dear Carol,
I was so very sorry to learn of Gary´s passing. I enjoyed meeting you and chatting with you at Spring Arbor. My heart aches for you and your family.

Never having written an obituary before I realize I left things off. I did not mention how he could fix anything - he was a master at solving problems and repairing things. He loved music, wine, food, and God. A special memory to me is him coming to see a show I was in twice because he wanted his sister to see the show.

Gary will be so missed. I remember when I first started at spring arbor, he smiled and would hold my hand. I remember one of my last times seeing him. He gave me a kiss on my cheek. I love how he always admired the picture of him and his wife on the wall.
