Gary Allen Laabs, 81, of Morgan Hill, California, passed away on January 23, 2024. Born on June 22, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Gary was the loving husband of Betty Laabs. Together, they shared a beautiful life and created a loving family.

Gary was a dedicated family man and is survived by his wife, Betty, and their children, Tami and Alan Laabs, along with their spouses. He was a proud grandfather to Ashlee, Hailee, and Mia. Gary also had a close bond with his sister, Linda, and his brother, Greg, as well as their respective families.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Adeline Laabs, and his sister, Tina. While his passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will forever be cherished.

In his youth, Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 31, 1960, to October 31, 1963. His military service instilled in him a sense of duty, honor, and discipline that carried throughout his life.

Following his time in the military, Gary embarked on a successful career as a Taco Bell Franchisee Owner for an impressive 57 years. His hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit made him a respected figure in the business community.

Gary's legacy extends beyond his military service and career. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a profound impact on all those fortunate enough to have known him.

A private memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Gary's life.

May Gary Allen Laabs rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and dearly missed. Morgan Hill -

I was deeply saddened to hear about Gary's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time. Gary was the kind of man who left a lasting impression the very first time you met him. He was kind, considerate, fair and treated myself and my family with the utmost respect. I am grateful for the positive experiences and interactions we had. He will be missed and I am so glad my family and I met him. ~ The Stonehouse Family

One Halloween when I was around 8 yrs. old he stopped by our home in his limousine and took my brother and I trick or treating.
