Gary Matthew "Matt" Bellinger

Gary Matthew "Matt" Bellinger, 40, of Denver, CO, passed away at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital on September 7th, 2017. Matt was born on May 23rd, 1977 in Peoria, IL. He graduated from Peoria Alternative High School in 1996 and moved to Denver, CO in 1999 to follow his dreams of creating and playing music with friends. Matt was an established musician and passionate music lover. He played guitar and made records with several bands throughout the course of his life, most notably: Planes Mistaken For Stars, Ghost Buffalo, and Il Cattivo. Matt made deep connections, shared meaningful experiences, and influenced and inspired countless others during his life in Peoria, Denver, and all over the United States and Europe through his travels playing music. Matt had a beautiful soul, a great love for his family and friends, and will be missed dearly by many. He is survived by his son, Miles Elliott Bellinger Webb; mother, Edna Marie Bellinger of Peoria, IL; father, Gary Don Bellinger of Mesa, AZ; and sister, Stacey Renee (Bellinger) Gourley of Gilbert, AZ.
