Gary Mills Obituary
Gary Eugene Mills, of Covington, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 79. Gary enjoyed water skiing, boating, bass fishing, riding motorcycles and horses. He also enjoyed vacationing with family. Gary was a hard working, dedicated framer and builder for 42 years and enjoyed working just as much as he did playing. One of his favorite things to do was spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charlie and Elsie Mills; and sister, Barbara Jones.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Priscilla Mills; son, Greg Mills (Tabitha); grandchildren, Scott Mills (Chelsea), Cody Mills (Allie), Ashley Knight (Chandler), Justin Mills (Audrey); 5 great-grandchildren, Madison Mills, Kane Knight, Taytum Knight, Paisley Mills, Bryson Mills; brothers, Charles Mills (Shirley) Eddie Mills; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Mills will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Tuesday, September 16, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
