Gary Wayne Ramirez, 68, passed away October 26, 2018, after a brief illness. He and his wife, Suzanne Spangler, had a wonderful 30-year marriage. Gary was born January 11, 1951, in Kansas. Retired Commander Ramirez served in the Navy, and was stationed around the world. A proud Kansas State graduate, Gary's love of golf, travel and family was shared by scores of friends and family. He touched many lives. Preceded in death by his mother, Faye Ramirez, and his daughter, Julie Roberts, his surviving loved ones include his loving wife, Suzanne, father, George Ramirez, son and family, Craig and Carey Ramirez, with children, Madison, Abigail and Lincoln, sister and brothers, Liz and Jack Lewis, Brent and Beth Ramirez and Henry and Sherrie Ramirez, along with many loving nieces and nephews. A remembrance is planned for Monday, October 29th, and donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
