I enjoyed working at P&H with Gary -
after leaving - we both ended up working downtown and went to lunch several times. Also enjoyed talking to him on the telephone. My sympathy is with his family at this time of sorrow.

Deepest sympathy.
Gary was here on earth for a brief moment in time. He touched many people and always wanted to be around everything that was happening.
Set at GODS right hand Gary.

Diane and Dean,
We had a nice visit just a few weeks ago and we were looking forward to visiting him in October. "Life is a fast walk across a short stage." There is never a right time to say "Good-bye" and Gary's death was a certainly shocking for many, especially for Helen and I.
Gary always had a positive attitude and he had the gift to make you smile when we visited on the phone. Gary just never complained about his illness and he taught us by example how to live life with adversity and dignity.
His memory will not be forgotten those of us that knew him. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his those of us privileged to know him.
Diane, Dean, and Gary, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Goodbye classmate and friend,
Helen and Tom Wicks

My deepest sympathy to Dean and Diane. Gary was a very special person. He visited Terry Smith and me when we lived in Jefferson, IA. and came when we celebrated the birth of our son, David. He loved being part of family and celebrations.

Diane and Dean,
My sympathy for your loss. Gary had a special place in our hearts. He was always so friendly. i don't know just how we are related but the Johnsons and the Sabins are related. Also when your parents and my mother were in St. Lukes it was good to visit with them. I called Gary about a year ago and we had a nice visit, wish that it had been more.
