Gary Sanders Obituary
He served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He loved animals and also loved fishing. Gary was an accomplished musician.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest, Sr. and Eleanor Sanders and two grandchildren.
Gary is survived by daughters, Gina Heim, Samantha James, Nikki Sanders; five grandchildren; brothers, Ernest J. Sanders, Jr. (Pat); sisters, Becky Griffin (Louie), Donna Wells (John), Linda Minton (Tim).
Private funeral service will be held followed by entombment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to PC Pound Puppies, P.O. Box 295, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.

My prayers and sympathy to Gary's family -- from a past next door neighbor to the Sanders family. Gary was kind and caring -- would "edge" our yard at times -- and would always say he was just glad to do it! Thought of Gary for some reason about a week ago as I was out working in the yard. Now he rests in God's loving embrace. Thinking of your family at this time of loss.

Becky my heart goes out to you, your brother Jim and sisters Donna and Linda. I spent many times in your basement listening to Gary & Jimmy's band practicing great ROCK & ROLL !!! Gary was amazing on the drums ! I will cherish those memories with your family.
