Gary Lee Steen

I loved Gary! What a wonderful man! Him and Mary what a wonderful couple! I just heard of his passing. Hopefully, his family is doing ok?

In Gary's work for the Fountain Mutual Irrigation Company for so many years, he and I would frequently be on the phone to talk about getting water delivered for our clients City of Fountain, Security Water District, and Widefield. We would talk about the water, but then invariably the discussion would shift to things that good friends chat about - how we were doing and what was going on in our lives. Many, many of such conversations over the years. He was such a joy to work with, and I am very sad for his passing!

We know Gary from MVE. He was a good work mate. Linda and I got know Mary also through her life endeavors. My condolences, as Gary will be missed.

Dear Mary and family, Gary will be sorely missed by all of us. He was such a kind and caring person. You are all in my prayers.

My heart aches for you after this great loss. You have had such a great life with Gary. He was a wonderful husband and father. I know you are grateful for the wonderful family that has come with the many years that you had together.

The more enriched a person makes our lives, the harder it is for us to let them go. For this reason, I know that saying goodbye to Gary will be the hardest sorrow to bear.
