Gary Tedder Obituary
Gary was a veteran with the US Army and was honored to have valiantly served his country. Professionally, he was a general contractor and eventually retired as President of Gary W. Tedder Contractors, Inc. He loved spending time with his family and was always filled with the greatest of love for his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gary is survived by his wife, Faye Allen Tedder; sons, Derrick Wade Tedder and his wife Janet, and Bruce Kelvin Tedder; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Anne Tedder, Taylor Victoria Tedder, Harrison Neil Tedder, and Hannah LeighAnn Tedder. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Spencer and her husband James of Myrtle Beach, SC. Gary is predeceased by his first wife, Ann Medlin Tedder.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. The family will receive guests for visitation on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Gary's name to, Hillcrest Raleigh at Crabtree, Attn. Employee Care Fund, 3830 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC 27527.

We just found out today about the passing of Gary. We will always be grateful for what he did for our Mom. He was always willing to help out in any way possible. Wish we would have known so we could have come to the funeral home. We offer our deepest condolences to the family. He was a good man!

We will miss Gary at the office. He always came in to see us when he was near by. He would bring peaches in the summer and pecans in the fall.

Gary was really good Friend of mine. We had some real good times with him and Faye on road trips. We will miss these good times. We love Gary Faye. And the entire Family.
